These are truly worth seeing any time you are traveling in Burundi. The performances are often part of ceremonies such as births, funerals, and coronations of kings, but can often be found in several locations for practice or performance. The drums are made from hollowed tree trunks covered with cow skin. The techniques and traditions are passed down from father to son. The members of the ensemble take turns playing the central drum, dancing, and playing the other drums, rotating throughout the show without interruptions. During the performance, the drummers can be seen balancing the heavy drums on their heads, while singing and playing. There is a large variety of plants and animals that find their home in the lake including hippopotamus, crocodiles, and many varieties of exotic fish. Amazing Hotel! A fabulous place to stay, the best in Bujumbura! Truly an oasis in the city where all our needs have been so well catered for. Staff are very kind and attentive, nothing is too much trouble. Hygiene standards superb, and food delicious, especially the fruit! Lovely pool and gym too - we have been spoilt. A must visit if you are in Burundi!

After staying at KCC for many years, all we can say is that the SERVICE and the AMENITIES at Kings Conference Centre get better and better on every visit! Comfy beds, wonderful dining venue, and gracious service like none other! While there we also conducted business. Meeting room spacious and technology equipped. Buffet was generous and the food delicious. Whether business or pleasure, KCC is our top recommendation!

Warmly Welcomed with Outstanding Hospitality While you'll likely find that the accommodations exceed your expectations for a 3rd world country stay, I'm certain you'll find the exceptionally friendly and helpful staff to be among the highlights of your time here. The pool and exercise facilities are top notch and the restaurant will leave you satisfied with your meals without leaving the property. I'd definitely stay again should the opportunity to visit Bujumbura present itself again. Tip: Be sure to stop in the restaurant for a friendly smile and great cup of coffee.

High quality, excellent professional The Kings conference Centre is professional clean and the staff are friendly and efficient. The rooms are really well serviced. I fully recommend the Kings conference centre. The food is excellent. The facilities are outstanding including the gym and swimming pool.
